Guest Survey Nets Nicola £1000
January 2008

We are pleased to announce that one lucky Streatham Vale resident is ‘quids in’ after winning £1,000 in our guest satisfaction survey following a visit to their local Harvester in Mitcham.
Nicola Rotchell, 31, completed the survey last October after visiting the Mill House on Windmill Road for a meal with her boyfriend, and is now hoping to put the money to good use and enjoy a free holiday.
The payroll accounts administrator was picked at random from a database of all of the surveys completed.
Speaking about her success, Nicola said: “I’m so happy to have won this prize, all for filling in a simple questionnaire online.
“I completed the form and then didn’t really think any more about it until I got the phone call to say that I had won. I was very surprised, £1000 is a lot of money and I’m going to put in towards a holiday.”
We launched our guest satisfaction survey last year as a way of monitoring the comments and feedback of our guests and so far it has proved to be a great success. The giveaway is just one way of saying thank you and expressing how important our customers are.
Details of our guest satisfaction survey can be found on the back of each receipt. Guests are directed to a site where they are invited to complete a questionnaire about the satisfaction of their visit. Each guest who completes the survey is then entered into a prize draw, run by the pub’s owners, which could see them win £1000.
Mill House restaurant manager Paul McBride said: “I’m delighted for Nicola and really pleased that a customer from the Mill House has won. The restaurant only opened its doors in June and we are already receiving fantastic feedback from our customers.”
