RSS£1000 REASON TO DINE AT HARVESTER

November 2011

A guest at the Gowerton Harvester in Swansea has won £1000 for providing feedback on her recent visit to the restaurant.

Alison Hughes from Bury Port, filled out the survey online after visiting the Salad & Grill over four weeks ago, when she went out for a meal with her husband.

Alison, 52, was then picked at random from a database of all of the surveys completed, and she is now hoping to put the money towards her daughters' wedding and university education.

Alex Meyer, senior marketing manager of Harvester, said: "We use the guest satisfaction survey across all of our Harvesters as a way of monitoring the comments and feedback of our guests, and so far it has proved to be a great success. The £1000 giveaway is just one way of saying thank you for helping to develop our customer service.

We are so pleased that Alison won the prize for providing feedback, and encourage all of our customers to go online after their visit for the chance to win, and of course, help us to improve the Harvester experience for everyone."

Alison Hughes said: "I thought that by filling out the survey I was simply helping the Harvester to improve their customer service, and didn't for a second think that I would win the prize. Now, in return for spending a few minutes on the computer, I have won £1000. I still can't really believe it."

Details of the guest satisfaction survey can be found on the back of each receipt, where they are directed to a site and invited to complete a questionnaire about the satisfaction of their visit. Each Harvester guest who completes the survey is then entered into a prize draw, run by the restaurant's owners, which could see them win £1000.
