MEET OUR NUTRITIONIST LYDIA
We know it can be hard to get kids to try new veg but with the help of our salad bar and our nutritionist, we can make getting their five a day fun. Hear from Lydia and her top tips!
1. Give fruits and veggies fun names and stories to encourage your kids to try new ones.
2. Challenge your kids to create a rainbow plate with as many fruits and veggies as possible.
3. Read stories or watch shows where the main characters love eating veggies.
4. Weekly Food Theme Nights: give each night of the week a fun food theme e.g. Taco Tuesday or Flatbread Friday, and introduce different foods and flavours on different nights.
5. Make it a challenge: encourage your kids to try one new item each week and reward them when they try new things.
